This walkthrough is tested on Jeff's Model 1 emulator. ASYLUM ------ (walkthrough) You start in room I (your cell). - GET BOX - EXAM GRENADE - PULL PIN FROM GRENADE - GET PIN - EXAMINE PIN - U D W PIN [UNLOCK DOOR WITH PIN] - O D [OPEN DOOR] go around one corner and the guard gets you You are in room II (straight jacket room) - ROLL - GET BOX - EXAM LOCK - PUSH PAPER UNDER DOOR - PUSH LOCK - GET PAPER UNDER DOOR - U D W SILVER [UNLOCK DOOR WITH SILVER KEY] - O D go to one corner - TIPTOE go around the corner - HIT GUARD - EXAM GUARD - GET BOX go to room (1) ... unlock the doors with the silver key and close them as well!! - GET COAT now choose a storage room, where to leave items you will need later in the game (if you leave items in the corridor they will be stolen) and keep a list of the items you left there. I choose room II - DROP PAPER - DROP UNIFORM - DROP BRASS KEY go to room (2) - U D W SILVER the inmate says "May I have a cigarette?" always answer YES to his request the inmate now follows you (he can pick the locks of room (3),(4),(5) and the entrance to Maze 1 (M1). enter room (5) - YES - GET NOSE enter room (3) the inmate there wants your coat - YES - GET PEG - DROP COAT go to entrance M1 - O D you are pushed into the maze from behind ============================== You are now in Maze 1 (M1) at point E go to mirror (M) - WEAR NOSE - PUSH PEG INTO HOLE - DROP NOSE use teleporter II get note (7) and flies (8) use teleporter II go to revolving doors, and enter them from the NORTH! (the revolving doors basically get you "through" the wall you see and rotate you; e.g. when you enter the upper right one from the North, your exit is in the lower right part of the maze. when you enter the upper right one from the East, your exit is in the upper left part of the maze.) go to the (*) corridor - DROP FLIES when you cross the (*) a wall is built and a crazed axe murder hunts you - SHOW NOTE TO INMATE (hehe!!) leave the axe as marker where the wall is. - GET STEEL KEY (9) go back to built wall - GET AXE - HACK WALL WITH AXE - GET BASEBALL (10) use the revolving door as described - GET BAT (6) exit Maze 1 =========== go to your storage room - DROP NOTE - DROP SILVER - DROP CIGARETTES (will we need them again!) - DROP BAT - DROP BALL got to fisherman Blake (9); steel key - GIVE FLIES TO INMATE - GET BOOTS go to water closet (8); steel key - WEAR BOOTS - GET BOX leave room Exodor seeks an honest man - GIVE BOOTS TO EXODOR - GET BURRO - GET LANTERN go to guru (11) - GIVE BURRO TO GURU - GET NAILS go to your storage room - DROP ANCIENT - GET BALL - GET BAT go to entrance M2, unlock, open, be pushed ;-) ========== You are now in Maze 2 at point E Okay, this is the big, impossible to solve one!! go to glass wall (G) - HIT BALL W BAT leave the bat somewhere near point (1), but do not enter point (1)!! use teleporter I - GET MARBLES use teleporter I - GET BAT go to gorilla (1) - THROW MARBLES - HIT GORILLA W BAT go to copper key - GET COPPER KEY (5) leave COPPER, SILVER, MARBLES and BAT near the exit (E) - GET GOLD (2) go to the 20 doors go through each of them; when you go through a door, you are teleported; it is best to put an item to one end of the corridor, and always go back there, to be sure to go through all doors. before going through te last door, do not forget the item you left!! after going through the last door you will find the matches. - GET MATCHES go to the long corridor on the very left side of the maze - LIGHT LANTERN WITH MATCHES - DROP NAILS leave the long corridor the roadster crashes, you are unconscious till 5:00 am gametime - GET VOLTAGE REGULATOR - GET CRANK go to exit (E) - GET BOX (the items you left there) leave maze 2 ============ go to your storage room - DROP MARBLES - DROP BAT - DROP VOLTAGE - DROP CRANK - GET CIGARETTES go to room hanger (12); copper key - TRADE CIGARETTE FOR PASSKEY go to storage room leave all items; get uniform, pass key, silver key - WEAR UNIFORM go to computer room (14); pass key - GET COMPUTER go to storage room - DROP UNIFORM - GET BAT - SMASH COMPUTER WITH BAT - DROP BAT - DROP SILVER - GET ANCIENT KEY - GET CRANK - GET VOLTAGE - GET MATCHES - GET GOLD go to fool (15); pass key - GIVE GOLD TO FOOL - SIT ON BED ============ You are in Maze 3 (M3) on point E go to professor (1); pass key - GIVE REGULATOR TO PROFESSOR (thanks for the bonus time ;-) go to catapult (2); ancient key - SIT ON CATAPULT - WIND CATAPULT WITH CRANK - BURN STRING WITH MATCHES You have escaped!
