DEATHMAZE 5000 HINT SHEET

Deathmaze requires you to find torches and food to stay alive. Give these
priority. Pits can get you to the next level if you jump into them, but you
may not be able to return to the original level. Some objects can be used
more than once. Events are often order-dependent. Something that doesn't 
work on the first level may work later on the fourth level, or after you have
performed some other action.


(1) Are you stuck in the room with the calculator?

- You need the ball for the endgame, remember where you left it!
  (I forgot and had to replay half the game!)
- Save Early, Save Often! It is difficult to draw the map, solve the
  puzzles and still find torches and food!
- The name of the Monster in the Beowulf Saga is GRENDEL
  (just in case you wanted to know, ;-))

I decoded the hints, and corrected the typos:

(1) HIT LEFT TURN KEY FIVE TIMES, THEN
    HIT RIGHT TURN KEY FOUR TIMES, THEN
    LEFT KEY THREE TIMES.

(2) TURN RIGHT. WEAR HAT. CHARGE.

(3) THROW SNEAKER.

(4) THE STAFF IS USELESS.    

(5) GET BOX.

(6) STEP FORWARD INTO SQUARE.

(7) DROP BOX. PLAY FLUTE. CLIMB SNAKE.

(8) THROW WOOL. KILL MONSTER. FILL JAR.

(9) PRESS TWO.

(10) RAISE RING.

(11) THROW JAR.

(12) PLAY HORN. KILL MOTHER.

(13) UNLOCK DOOR TWO (KEY TICKS). TURN RIGHT.
